www.tamiya.com/.../index.htm ... great :y: but "Fighting Buggy"? Are they even trying any more? :silly:

I just saw this on Facebook.
I always wanted a Superchamp but I'm not sure how to feel about this. Since it is likely to be >>£300 I am unlikely to buy a rere. Maybe I'll buy a bodyshell and build a replica out of one of my SRBs. |

Crazy they are replica but originals release or rere are so expensives one to one. Too for me .

The Super Champ is definitely on my list (I've had a set of decals for a long time in anticipation), but good examples have become increasingly out of reach in recent months & ones complete enough to consider restorable, very few & far between ... I'd like to get the re-re as I've never built an SRB out of the box - but it might just be that I end up getting an original, if the re-release hammers down prices to the same extent it did with, well, just about any other Tamiya car that got re-released
TBH as soon as I saw "Fighting Buggy" , my mind immediately jumped to South Park & "Let's Fighting Love"

Not unexpected for me. Makes perfect commercial sense. They already have most of the parts made for the Buggy Champ and can charge more as it is a "premium" model. |
