A fair while back I managed to find a Traxxas/Graupner Radicator 2 from Europe, I had planned on running it and finally started setting it up for the Castle Hill enduro at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately during the setup I notice cracking at the screw holes in the chassis for the rear arm blocks, Although there is a carbon reinforcement I knew it wouldn't last so setup the Pro-X instead. Since then I have been searching for the even more elusive Traxxas/Graupner Radicator 2 Expert and after finding one in the UK, It has arrived today There are 4 differences to the Expert. 1: uses the shocks from the TRX3, 2: Has a slipper clutch, 3: has the TRX1 steering bell crank 4: the most import one, It has a carbon chassis


 

A rear body mount for a Holiday Buggy arrived this morning.
I’ve got 2 waiting to be finished, but one of them had some tabs broken on this part. So I was happy to get a nice replacement.

Today I begin a new project as some Hop-Up Parts have just arrived for my blazing star including front and rear aluminum shock Towers,  aluminum drive shaft, new universal joint swing arms, two ball diff sets and an aluminum ball raced steering rack. Wanted to wait for the rear shock Tower and the ball raced steering rack to get here but I think I will begin anyway. The rest of the buggy is already fully ball raced and outfitted with a 14 turn double brushed motor so performance is very good.

Ta0102df01 are my favourite to... I only kept the mantaray and the tfs for the df01. 

Yes! Manta Ray is my favorite one!! Blazing Star has goofy wheels but otherwise the same. 😅

Coincidentally all of the parts off of this project will be going towards a "spare parts build" TA01!!

New tyres for the Blazing Blazer!!!!
They are obviously the repro ones, can’t wait to get them fitted.
I think my original set need a glycerin bath and to be stored away safely.

I have a ta01 to end. The rallye version with black shocks. I only miss the shocks towers.
