Toyota Hi-Lux 3 speed tyres turned up today.
These are the repro ones, the quality is great.
This means my original car gets an upgrade to new tyres and the one with the aftermarket truckman shell, final has a full set of tyres and wheels, so it’s upgrades all round. The parts bin gets 3 tyres and wheels added to it.
👍

I dismantled it. One shock was ripped off the tower and tower was ripped off the gearbox.

Everything arrived to complete the Maxxum FF and extras 😁

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

Another really early  eighties car, this time a Kyosho (/Graupner) Rallye sport Alpine A310...

The car is almost complete (missing rear springs) and the bodyshell and tires are in pretty good shape. I'm very happy with it. This is another project to be added to the existing pile of projects... I guess I won't start it that soon :-)
I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them :-)

I love a good job lot ebay purchase. There are obviously the one or 2 bits you actually want and then there are the random bits and then the surprise bits, which 9 times out of 10 I have no idea what they are??

So this was the part I really wanted from the bunch above. I bought a Ferrari 312 T3 at Christmas, but the PO had put an ESC in it and removed this metal plate which I need for the servo for the MSC. The correct MSC is on the chassis, but I’d need to do something about the missing fuse. I could always add in a circuit breaker if all else fails.

The old batteries, 3 of which are in really good condition will go in some vintage builds.

There are some ORV gear box plates and a NIP axle boot. There’s some junk SRB stuff, some Tamiya battery connectors and servo lead and plug.

Now the mystery stuff. Answers on a post card or just comment below.

After market lexan bumper, possibly Hotshot ??? I’ll have a look through some old model car magazines and see if anything crops up.

TMS tie rods, possibly for an SRB ???

I’ve absolutely no idea what this is, my guess something to do with motors ???

This is the random junk pile, a tiny servo.

This intrigues me, which means it’s rubbish. Gear box/ pinion cover ??
