Thanks Manotas but I think it could be quite a boring resto thead really with me doing the restoration.
It will probably be more of a "tissy up" and a clean up of what I already have on the car. The Bruiser will never be a runner for me, just a shelf queen. The car will need a strip and a new paint job and I do have an usnused vintage decal sheet for it (also a good repro sheet) . Most everything else is there on the car from when I purchased it MANY years ago, when you could still find these at a reasonable price. The prices are sure UP on these vintage Tamiya RCs now. I'll take a few images and start a thread - can't promise that progress will be quick though .. lol

Well, BB are nothing else that the grandfather of the Bruiser's and Mountaineers, so from te technical point of view nothing special.
What makes this car special, is the iconic status it has and certainly the fact thta it hasn't been re-released (yet) also helps to maintain that status. Anyway, if you want to get inspired, you can have a look at mine : Blazing Blazer Resto Manotas Proud owner of the Bruiser Family
