TOPIC:

Tamiya has released a picture of what is supposed to be the new SuperShot.

After studying the picture, I am pretty convinced that Tamiya has, for now,used a picture of the original SuperShot.
The picture shows an ols stickpack battery, and some of the original Sponsor Decals.

I still believe the reissued Supershot will be the reissued Hotshot with (possibly) a new shell. And of course, the reissued one will have yellow CVA's Pin Spike tires will certainly be a nice addidtion to the original racers.

I'm impressed - it actually looks quite faithful to the original ... but has someone got copyright on the word "super" & Tamiya didn't want to pay the licensing fee?

It says "Super" on the hood, in front of the driver.

Practically I suspect the price will be a bit lower... looking at the recent kits in the Asian shops.
Maybe it will come to the same amount - but in dollars.
