Googling a bit, I see a whole universe of brush technology that I am not familiar with.
Guess yours are still quite new. |

The 17T with ESC delivered with the Honda: You can clearly see capacitors on the motor and a diode on the ESC. I don't know why... The minifan is funny |

Ok, now i know more. The "tuning motors" needs about 40 A at max power but the connectors doesnt allow that. Only about 15 A. Battery has 150 A max, ESC too. But connector of battery (tamiya) and motor only allows 13-15 A...
Edou, the 17T LRP needs capacitators. But you only need them, if you have probs with the remote. |

184W at 7.2V will give a current draw of about 26A...
Indeed enough to possibly melt a Tamiya plug. www.lrp.cc/en/p...2/details/

Yeah, the wires getting hot and i know why. Also the cables to the Motor. How did you calculated the Ampere from Watt?

Thanks Edou, I've already found out how that works You helped me a lot!
That means that the 17T needs also 26 A (which has already gold-connectors) and also my 23T Mach mod wants to have 17,3 A. I've read here that the tamiya/molex plug only delivers max 15 A. So have to get 3 pairs of deans. What's about the motorplug? My ones at the LRP ESC & LRP 12T Motor is golden and the 17T is hardconnected with his GM ESC. Should i change also the golden ones to hard connected? One last question about the mAh from a battery. Does it mean that it is limited also on delivering Ampere? I've read that the Team Orion Rocket Nimh works till spikes of 150 A. Does it matter how big the battery is? Or is it just earlier empty? |

I think gold bullet connectors are just as good a choice as Deans.
Only replacing the Tamiya plugs is enough, although I made everything Dean myself... Capacity has no consequence on how much current the battery can deliver, just how long you can run it. |

I'm currently thinking about how the Manta Ray will fly with the 12T Motor with full ampere
