Waiting with anticipation for some rims to arrive...
Something I've had in my mind since the Grasshopper came out of the cellar earlier this century. Anyway, I have this LRP S10 Blast motor in this car, basic 23T version (not bad at all). I cannot find anything other than that it's nominal voltage is 7.2V. Could there be an issue with any motor if you run it on 6V? The new-old battery pack I made is a nice snuggly fit for the Grasshopper. |

Brushed DC motors can be varied in speed by changing the operating voltage or the strength of the magnetic field, so all that will happen is you will have a lower top speed. If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate
