Waiting with anticipation for some rims to arrive...
Something I've had in my mind since the Grasshopper came out of the cellar earlier this century.

Anyway, I have this LRP S10 Blast motor in this car, basic 23T version (not bad at all).
I cannot find anything other than that it's nominal voltage is 7.2V.
Could there be an issue with any motor if you run it on 6V?
The new-old battery pack I made is a nice snuggly fit for the Grasshopper.

Brushed DC motors can be varied in speed by changing the operating voltage or the strength of the magnetic field, so all that will happen is you will have a lower top speed.
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)
