I see dead gearbox-covers :side:

Probably jinxed it with the spoiler in my last post.
I now noticed one side where the rear damper stay is mounted has a crack as well...

Edit - gearboxes are from this ol' car (for the most) :

What started it all...

 And now, where is the MR body?
It looks very pretty, better than my dirt one.

To quote waterbok - got my work cut out...
Put a huge amount of effort in the MR shell (fiber glass, painting) but will do it all over again at some point :

Blazing Star - Terra Conqueror :

Dirt Thrasher :

TF (Evo) shell was sold with another buggy I built in the meantime :

This one's for sale (long DF-01 wheelbase) :

Nope, just one chassis that only the Hummer fits on. And sort of an FRP buggy in pieces. :silly:

Superglue will do. Maybe I'll solder it together another time (cracked not broken)...

:) Wisdom of parts has even developed in that area since the first page... not shunning non-Tamiya brands anymore.

That is, if they have the good stuff (like the Axials). It does not apply to these (first alloy hexes I ever bought) :

Very nice. this type of aloy hex is very good when you loose a wheele. You don't loose the axle  like me.
It is a project for the dirt. It is easy too to remove the wheeles. Often the plastic hex comes with the rim.
