Well lets get started! :) At first i wanted to go and polish all the beautiful metal parts the RR has, but i later decided not too.
Afterall a car 34 years old and called Rough Rider couldn't look as bling bling as i thought

Hi Bram,

Nice work on your RR !
Well i polished some metal parts on mine...so it might look a bit bling bling ha ha ha ha

Why are you not replacing the bronze bushings with ballbearings?

I replaced them on mine even if i know that my RR won't be driven around ;) ;) This sounds a bit stupid to put ballbearings if it's not be driven, but it's more a personal "hop-up" i like, specially if it does not alter the outside and vintage look. ;)

Well i used the bronze bushings because the manual says so :-)
As i like to build the cars box art i also build them according to the manual exactly.

I like to keep mine with their original bushings too, if the car isn't going to be used, especially if I plan to sell it at some point.

If it's gonna get a pasting though, then yeah, ballraces throughout!

Mmmm, that looks nice. :y:
The orange color looks very orange (almost fluorescent), or is that only on the pictures?

The radio box looks great - Is that the original one repaired? I'd like to see some pictures of how you did that,
