I for one wouldn't mind hearing about the other RC stuff. Or even the cat because they're the coolest creatures.
The bottom section on the forum is for "anything else" you'd like to share besides vintage Tamiya cars. :cheer:

And I can appreciate the vintage look you left on the car with the resistor shell.
I left it out with my Manta Ray and even closed the gap in the body... but I left the sticker with "Caution hot!" on it.

:pinch:

hey sorry, it was just a comment not a thread hijack,i know how this forum works now so if anyone got interested in my other interests i would start a new thread.

I only meant to show interest in your other RC stuff. They sound great. And I like cats. ;)
Don't worry about hijacking your own topic. When that happens, it can always be sorted out. :)

Anything goes (to a certain limit) in that section. :cheer:
I think cats are to singleminded to be controlled. Even by radio!

Is someone going to start a cat thread, or shall I do it? :)

so, i got my esc all in and working, but it has a tiny on/off switch which is too small to fit in the original switch position. so i am thinking of making a little bracket to mount it in the recess of the body shell just to the front right of the driver.
on the subject of the driver.....now all the new bits are in and the old bits removed i think it looks a bit silly as there is a huge gap in front of him (or her!) and blatantly looks like he has no arms!
is there another driver from a different model, with arms....that will fit or does anyone have any suggestions as to how to make it look a bit more real?
maybe like this one....

You could also look at the driver for the Bigwig - the advantage there is your existing head would screw on to the base, no modification needed.

new front bumper fitted and wheels painted, looking gooooooooooood!
got a new "stig" on order (with arms).
roll cage painted and switch mount in progress. will soon be able to test it in anger instead of chasing the cat round the kitchen lol.
