i just ordered a new drive shaft and a 17t pinion
i ordered the drive shaft because the old chassis was 5mm shorter than my aluminium chassis so the drive shaft pops out and grinds on stuff |

i took it to school today(i have a short wednesday so i don't have to carry it around all day) for a proper test of the wheels and servo
pros:
cons:
i ran it a little bit before school started, during recess and after school 30+ mins and it wast light running, i was thrashing it, full speed along a dirt/tarmac driveway, wheelies, jumps, burnouts it was great fun at my school there are a range of surfaces and the wheels go great on all of them on sunday i put a new aerial on the receiver because the old one was frayed, no range issues yet i also made something with sipties and spiral bindy tube thing to hold it vertical to get more range

i replacedthe breaker db steering system with the warhead steering system, the ackerman plate didn't fit well so i make one with turnbuckles, so now everything to do with steering is adjustable. tome to set it up well

i made a new wheely bar, its heaps stronger
hobbyking replied asking if i want a new esc or bonus points i chose the points ill get 40.61 points i figured out a way to get things heaps cheaper on hobbyking
the bonus pints are not a specific currency so for me they will remove 40 GBP, which will make the 60A version of my 45A esc and a roll of servo tape free, in the cart it costs 28.8 GBP - 40.61 points = will leave me 11.81 points for a future buy, or i could get the shocks as well and leave 0.23 points left yay free stuff |
