Paint delivery today. Shout out to SC models for amazing service. I love Tamiya packaging, I know it’s not quite what it was, but then again we’d probably be complaining about the prices if everything came in a smart box with amazing artwork on it. So when I ordered some paint I was hoping it would come in these boxes.

I even managed to remove the brown parcel tape.

There are several possibilities with this lot, so it’s probably a case of how difficult a task I want.
The potential candidates are the Sand Rover, Porsche 935, Holiday Buggy, Toyota Hilux, Sand Scorcher or Rough Rider ???
I also found 5 more cans of Tamiya paint I’d forgotten about in a box in the garage which will come in handy.

Another Hirobo Bearcat SS arrived today...

This time it is with a box (the reason why I did not think much and clicked buy as it was at an affordable price). The bumper is broken, but inside the box there is a nice metal one home made (I'll have to post some pics later). It has it's original driver, and for the driving train, it seems complete and the belts in proper state. There is some work for sure, and in the worst case scenario, that makes a set of spare parts...
I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them :-)

Simple things in life....  Was getting tired of using pliers to adjust ball-ends, so got a ball-end tool.

Was looking for a Blackfoot Box recently, and came across one with some misc. goodies inside!
I haven't done a full inventory of the random parts, but these two stood out for sure - the motor never had capacitors or leads soldered!

I have a pair of those shocks. The strange thing they are a bit different to eachother.

Very nice Todd.

Richard, even the two in the package Todd has look slightly different to each other, the one on the left appear to a touch smaller??? Is that even possible..... Has to be the distortion in the clear packaging...

Got my package from Kamtec today.
Ordered the 9th, so 15 days on total to arrive is not bad ( usually takes 3-4 weeks from elsewhere in the workd.
But then, the shipping was not exactly cheap..

1.6 and 2.4mm sheets of FRP.

Also got something for my scale garage... See thread..
