Not today, but yesterday, and I did not find time to post about it...

I got my original 44B Hilux body back from Loisirs Creations RC with two additional bodies mainly targeted for my  44B Hiliux runner, and as well, a nice Manx TT 1/8 buggy I'll have to prepare for one of the next events... The setup is quite basic and very inspired from late seventy rc designs. Spring board on the front, springs at the rear, with a belt setup... I'll have to make a specific thread on this car, as it is a very simple way to make a fun car...
I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them :-)

After 3 days away decorating a flat for the family ( my knees feel like I must hate them ).
Any way I had a few more Brat parts waiting when I got back.
I’ll need to check what fastenings I’ve got and what I will need because I think I could start putting something together ???

I do believe you have most if not all of a Brat there Al but then again I have come up short on pieces for just about everything I have laid my hands on lately..... 😜

Cheers Jim, I’ve been looking through my boxes of screws and I already know I’m down one step screw.
My wife is away next week so I might spend an evening seeing how far I can build it and work out how much hardware I need to get.
I’m sure I have some old wheels and tyres if I manage to get that far 😂😂

Ah yes, the ol familiar and elusive bit of hardware that inevitably keeps us from finishing rcs! 😂

I’ve just ordered a few of the re-release screw bags, so I can make a start at some point next week, hopefully.
I’m now thinking of putting a Beetle body on this. Yep it’s been done loads, but it looks good. That’s what I’m thinking at the minute any way ???

I guess we are on the same wavelength Al because I just commented on Andy's Sand Frog and told him I was thinking about doing the same. His is really nice.

I may lean more towards a street oriented machine and keep it low and wide....

Jim, I'd love to do a street Scorcher build at some point. It's just finding the right chassis and wheels. I think it needs wider rear tyres compared to the fronts. For me the fronts would be fairly narrow.
The build list is long !!!! All I can say is the day I retire I won't ever be bored.
