Well they should be cheap, there for marui
With very few exceptions they were fairly rubbish cars, the only one that was sort of good in my opinion was the Samurai and even that was so-so. I once got a deal on a NIB Hunter ( I did not know any better ) took a good look at it, laughed at the quality and quickly passed it on. Did the same with a super wheelie kit years back, its sort of like a wild willy, but not. I admit I do have a Golden eagle on the shelf now, mostly because I like Jeeps but.......... And speaking of that, I am looking for a set of rear rims for that Jeep, It has wheels off a Hunter on there right now, the right size but the wrong look, so if you happen upon any I would be interested. I put my gearbox for my Toyota Hilux back together this afternoon.
Really just to check it’s all present. Good news is all that’s missing is an 850 flanged bearing and the long spring from the shift rail. 906D40692AB7.jpeg[/attachment] So I think im good to go with taking it apart and giving it all a clean. More parts for the rest of the build continue to arrive on a daily basis. I’m nowhere close to the whole car, but enough to be able to start a build. |

Something I’m working on right now and I’m really pleased with these result after trying other methods unsuccessfully.
So I’m working on a little project for someone and I wanted to widen the rear wheels and tyres, I am finding it quite challenging and to hand trim these are impossible. So I turned down a piece of resin for a tight tyre mount and then set up a knife in the lathe for a clean cut. Now to glue them “seamlessly” ? So far so good, I hope you enjoy. Any guess on the car for application

Very good idea! I know I will need that at some point. My guess is these are rears for some sort of older F-1 car? My first thought was dragster but that's just old habits..... From somewhere out in the wilds of central Ontario.
