My f350 hilift found a new home this weekend. It will be in the futur a double cab unimog . Like the new 1:1 toy of the new owner.

Did a bit of building today for the Super Hotshot

Front shocks are now mounted. I will need to wait for the servo to arrive (tomorrow) as the one I have seems too bulky for this build.

I also found the case of the Tamiya toolkit is also a very good tool while mounting shocks :-D
Warning: Spoiler!

I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them :-)

With this helmet, you need a technigold to put into the supershot

Had to work today so didn't get to check how the 3D printed roof scoop came out this morning.   So when I got in from work I went up to check. Its ok, could be better. It was only a draft print and it was orientated on its side when printing. This is where the issue is. The supports have caused a rough side so it needed a lot of cleanup. I lost the mopar logo on one side due to the roughness so I cut the other side off to match. It needs a good sanding and then some primer. it will be ok at best. So to combat the roughness I have changed the orientation to have it flat on the print bed and also told it to print in good quality. I've left it printing as its going to take a few hours.

This is how the one from this morning looks

From this angle it looks really nice

From this angle you can see where the supports made it rough. I can smooth it out i'm sure. I will have a go to see what I can achieve.

I like the idea, but that's not going that route; as it would also require to change the ESC :-D
It is likely to keep the GT-Tuned motor. No need for more at this stage, and if ever in go for more, it would be more likely brushless... But that would be too much, probably :-)
At this stage, I would keep the brushless for my Kyosho as the re-released models have been clearly revisited to cope with this. Looking at the diffs of the Super Hotshot, I have some doubts they would survive this...

You can use ezrun or quikrun with a soft trimming. If you'll don't need the gt tuned in the futur, I could be interested.
modern diffs are fiable. Better than the oldies. It should support the brushless.

Airbrushed the Australian Military kangaroo on the hood as a local nod LWF.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

Saturday rather than today: felt more like doing something non-challenging & repetitive, so made some more 5mm gap window mesh (weave with nylon thread, straighten out, flood with CA).

No plans for it yet :)
