Oh boy  However I have seen you do some pretty nice restoration work :y:

Just looking back at that resto the bed was cracked in the same place  Is that just a coincidence or a design fault?

Thanks Andy

I think you're talking about this resto thread Mountaineer ...
Well I have seen those cracks only on Montaineers, the Bruisers I have done never shown such cracks there.

I suppose the Mountaineer's bed length is making a stronger lever effect than the Bruisers on the body holders. And the rollbar is def. not helping during rollovers. This is my version of things.
Another point I'm taking into consideration is the paint used by the previous owner, for instance this body had 2 colours ! The first layer was black and the second blue. It looks like the solvent contained in the paint I removed were really aggressive with the plastic, have a close look at the pictures and you will notice how the plastic suffered and became like porous.
In the meantime I have glued the broken part just to see if it hardens enough. If it works i'll start the filling and sanding work.
I will start a post real soon for this.

Finished the TBG Vanquish body and wing with TCI decals.
Very good for repro stuff, but original is better.
I have an original decal set waiting for when the right orignal body surface :-)

Did you notice there is something sticking in the TF evo where the motor is supposed to go?

:P YEP! The alloy motor mount wich is still inside. I didn't dismantle any part. It comed with me at work today to show it to my friend. I am too glad to have it  . I decided to put the mini receiver inside and use my tamtechgear common transmitter before cleaning the saber tx.
Tomorrow I will have more time to discover this beauty and make a micro run inside the loft. :woohoo:
