OK experts of TB - Tell me if I scored or flopped here . . . I followed an auction for these wheels and tires that the seller supposedly has had since 1986, under the suspicion that perhaps these tires are actually original WW or BB tires? I won them while I was sleeping last night so I don't have them yet, but they measure somewhere around 4" diameter and about 2" wide going by the pictures. The fact that they are sitting on Hotshot wheels tells me they are bigger than Grasshopper tires, for sure. I'm hoping I stumbled onto greatness and plan to use these tires on my Wild Willy 2 as a tribute to the original.

If they are so old, they are originals or aftermarket ones. Something is sure, that's not a flop.

I don't know what they are, but they're pretty cool. Scaled to a WW pic here on the forum, they obviously aren't original size tires. Did Tamiya really make oversized sand tires? I'm only out $74 bucks, so not the end of the world. I'll need to find a set of wheels that have the original look to them, but larger diameter - Open to ideas! IG_tamiyaddiction
