So today saw work on the TA01/02 come to a screaming halt as I now need a TA02 chassis before proceeding. LOL

Grabbed a new kit (Boomerang) that I KNOW all the parts are there as project Winger begins!! (Gotta admit I saw Andys build and had to do one myself! ) :)

That ESC worked flawless until the day before the race. I was pretty pissed. Maybe i shouldnt drive an italian car and switch to german or japanese brand
Anyway, my Alfa was 1st to fail with esc problems. 2 more esc failures happened and you can see all of us esc failures on the podium in order of failure.

Big Alfa, small Alfa, breaking down is just par-for-course when owning an Alfa

Sanding is always better with a big cup of coffee.

Yesterday we had a good moment with my grandson and my grand daughter. She was on her high chair and have fun seeing a scale running. We ran the mn 82 sited on floor with my grandson he was eating fries and I crawled around us . And I have a job from him. Put more lights on the lc79😁.

Tonight on the bench is my Pro X, I had prepared this to run at the castle hill enduro but life happened and I didn't make it to the last 2 I also made a poor choice to cut part of the motor guard to install a cooling fan I managed to find a fair used one to replace it and it also came with the gear cases, since I couldn't run it at castle hill I gave it a run at Keilor and copped a hard rear hit which I didn't think much of at the time. So on the bench and stripped it down to find one of the cases had been broken Stripped cleaned and reassembled the gearbox, refitted everything and now she is ready to roll (I will make an angle bracket for any fans in the future! )

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

I bought a couple of rough ORV chassis’s recently, this is the first one. The second was an original Brat, due to a unique gear in the gear box which got changed on subsequent models.
Any way after buying a few new parts and raiding the spares boxes this one is almost a roller.
The plan is to put a Beetle body on this. Not an original idea, I just fancied giving it a go.
I have a spare Scorcher body, but have been wondering if a Blitzer / Monster beetle body might be better and use the holes in the sides for the body posts ??

Any suggestions for a different body on the other chassis ?? I’ve got an original Brat, so that’s covered.
