Thanks for the feedback. Didn't really set a style for the letters yet so that'll definitely be on the to do list.

you should get adobe dreamweaver, make the whole website in it (i has heaps of features, like the menu bar up above) save it and upload it, easy
dreamweaver has the text on the left and wht the website will look like on the right.
it is the best websit creator i have used.
i defiently reccomend it  :cheer: :) B) ;) :silly: :woohoo: :side:

Thanks, I'm gonna look at it. :)
Kind of like to build the code from scratch myself though... ;)

Applied a new (custom) font to the site. B)
Hope that's easier to read...

Slowly (but steadily) making progress in general.
Any data you have a scan of is very welcome!

Accepting good car overview info for example also... ;)
Hope to make some very interesting pages - like model evolutions.

And please report if anybody notices something not working etc. :)

I've been working on one of the pages - it should be an easy overview of all the basic info of models 58101 and on.
That'll probably be something I can use myself at times.
Other types of info (and links) will be added and the list will get longer of course.

TamiyaWeb Car Overview

And I think the background colour should be lighter still...

Applied a new (custom) font to the site. B)
Hope that's easier to read...

It's still showing as Times New Roman for me (Firefox on Win 7). Problem with custom fonts is that if the viewer's browser does not have that font loaded, it reverts to the default font, which in most cases is TNR.
You are better off using the Verdana/Arial/San Serif font set as most browsers support that.

Edit: Also be careful that the updated stylesheet has been uploaded and that links to it are OK. I have had this problem in the past, where it looks OK previewing on your own PC, but when viewing over the web, it looks different. If possible check it using a different PC if you have one.

Edit 2: I can also recommend Dreamweaver, although it is expensive. I have a very old version (v.3), but that is perfectly adequate for looking after my own website.

Edit 3: Although you are wise to keep up your HTML skills. WYSIWYG editors sometimes don't do exactly what you want and you need to "tweak" the code :)

Thanks for the feedback guys. :y:
I wasn't aware that the custom font might not show...
Also took me a while to get the layout to look right (and centered) on all the browsers.
Some didn't load the stylesheet at all!

it looks OK previewing on your own PC, but when viewing over the web

Definitely recognise that. Getting the details right can be a real pain!

Zephyrin, thanks for the offer! Current activity is a bit dull though - completing the model list as accurately as I can...
I'm not doing "copy and paste" from anywhere but look at all the manuals for the most correct car titles.
Which can be confusing 'cause even Tamiya themselves aren't always that consistent.
