Two things a RC legend can't have too much of, Titanium, and Carbon Fibre...

I second that! Recently the colour coated titanium caught my eye...
But I think I'll stick with looking for now 'cause it's mucho expensive. :pinch:

Only problem with color coating titanium, is it looks the same as normal coated parts. However, I suppose you would know that it was titanium... ;)

You're right, the exterior looks exactly like the aluminium version.
They are much cooler though. Bling on the inside! B)

Loving all the small parts that I can still add to my racer... :cheer:
A black spring on the damper will look very nice and now I have a choice in hardness also. B)
The titanium screws are a bit too short but I'm hoping I'll get away with that.
They're not made in 18mm length but using 15mm will save some weight also.

And fitted... the black spring is a nice looking detail I think.
The titaniums screws seem to be a little lighter (of colour) than the other ones...

Still not totally finished on this project...
Yes, it is a runner but there are still details that can be upgraded.
Hope to post a tiny titanium update soon. B)

And I still have to fit some better tyres. And find the best solution of gluing them to the rims.
The RD setup and strong motor are a bit too much for the vintage wheels.
I have some cool new Italian foams but the doublesided tape that's normally used seems to be very specific to Tamiya.

And what's more - I still have a complete shelf car in parts that needs to be built! :cheer:

Here's that titanium update :

Two of them will be used for the T-bar :

And I think I can use a couple to put through the thingies on the side of the chassis.
That way they will limit the maximum body roll...

Hope to post another video soon!

To replace the two screws on the T-bar with titanium, I had to take half the car apart... :S
No easy switch possible on that job :

Well worth the effort though. There's quite a bit of
