 That's awesome Manu.
For gluing styrene, why you don't use acetone? I saw a long time ago a guy who glued a 1/43th mini body scale. That worked. I don't know with the ABS bodies. I never tested this method. (I don't support the acetone)

Very slow progress on this....
I've cutted off the license plate holder from an old rear cab i had

Lack of concentration maybe or i should go back to school to learn about measurements
I cutted it a bit too short. Anyway i filled in the gap with 2 components glue.

In the meantime i kept sanding a bit some other bodies that i'm preparing for painting.

Well yeah, actually the body needs more work than expected. All the cracked parts were well covered with all the paint layers....
But this really motivates me and i can't wait to see the final result once this beauty will be done!

This is the polyurethan 2 components glue i'm using

I love this plastic surgery! Well done!
You could make it easier on yourselt if you bought some styrene sheets?

Actually i haven't any styrene sheets but i had an old body laying around which i used as donor. It might also sound a bit "perfectionist" but i wanted to keep the tamiya plastic parts as much as possible.
It was also a challenge to fix that body...And honestly speaking i do not have Johnny's skills working with styrene

A bit progress on this resto...

I finally managed to finsh the sanding process on the body...but unfortunately i didn't took any pictures.
Anyway, here a few pictures of the body on the assembled chassis. The paint will be made as soon as the weather condition get better.

In the meanwhile i start working on the chassis and fitting the gearbox with ball bearings.

Here starting with the chassis assembly:

Working on the rear axle :

While working on the rear axle i noticed that the bewelk gear wasn't properly aligned.... Its the first time i'm seing this on a Mountaineer/Bruiser. A quick fix will make it be fine again

After alignment

Wow that body's looking great, nice work :)

Cleaning through my parts recently I came across 4 plastic parts which I knew were Tamiya, I just couldn't place them  Until now, Looking at your chassis build they stand out

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)
