Interesting - and possibly quite helpful :) - but not the same manual I was thinking of, that has 25 pages of text & photos :)

Ok, on desktop now & the link for the PDF in the Tamiya101 article in the article is dead :(

I do have a copy of it on my HD though - you can PM an email address to send it to (I'm pretty sure that kope / Ko-Ping Hu wouldn't mind as long as they are credited as the author :) )

ok, I am writing to you PM with my email address
If you can send files that would be great

I can see the article of 101 Vintage Tamiya - Bruiser transmission and the pdf.
This is not bad.
It is not like the Toyota one but I think it is similar and differs little

Hi,
I have checked the manuals i had and i'm using the same that AL posted.
I started using the one from KO-Ping aswell but as i have compared them, i prefer the 101 one.

You can use this manual for all 3 speed transmissions, Bruiser and Hi-Lux, because the operating principle is the same.
However, you must pay attention to the operating clearance and the distance between the various gears. On the Hi-Lux and Blazing Blazer transmission the spacing is not the same as on the Bruiser and Mountaineer transmission.
I personally use 0.5mm washers to set the right distance after installing the flanged bearings.
I hope this helps.
