The interior pops out so I can brush paint it, the rest is glued into one piece & will be sprayed & then some details brush painted. |

I've been working on the some of the tank detail (end details, feet & supports, inspection hatch/fill point, working & fuel tank platforms), but still have a long way to go (lift pump & engine housings, battery/tool locker + supports for all three, fuel tank, fake fuel lines & wiring, hoses & clamps, + ladder in brass) but before than I want to go back & improve the load bed a little. I've also decided to make the tank unit (semi) removeable.

Spotted a "small" oval tanker as it sped past my house earlier today, colour scheme was mostly white with yellow & red Shell accents ... and "Emo Oil" on the back end
If I hadn't decided on orange a long way back I'd be tempted |

A truck you have to speak nice to eh If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate

Remaining tank details (fuel tank & hoses, lift pump & motor boxes, battery/tool box & cables, hose mounts & ladder) done:
... which means the truck is pretty much done too: I may add a few more details, but the main thing to do is find some way of fixing the tank down, and holding the back end of the body down. Other than that, I just have to wait for spraying weather. |
