Got the 2nd colour on - this is what it looks like after two whole jars of paint & lots of thinners spread over 5 coats (photo in diffuse daylight):
... and with is what it looks like indoors under a "daylight" bulb I mention it because not only are those two colours quite different, _neither_ is an accurate representation of the way it's come out. My brief was to match the colours on the box (a vintage body set rather than a Scorcher kit) & it does that really well - I just can't show it edit - one bleed will need attention (as will one thunderfly with a fatal attraction for tacky paint), I'll leave it for a week or so before giving it a very light tickling with high # wet & dry paper. After that the next step is line tape & clear coat. |

Interresting approach to finishing the licence plates, and a good result. What sandingpaper/block did you use? Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.
