ATM the sky board is tucked between two stacks of crates, and the other two are leaning on the plotter - I need to make more permanent arrangements.

Managed to get a bit of primer on the smaller/loose bits of the Hagglund (everything except the bodies really), but weather & forecasts are really against getting any more spraying done for a while
There are other RC related things that I "should"/could be doing, but I really felt lie doing something simple with quick(er) results - so I'm making some skips (aka dumpsters) instead Strictly speaking these are 1:14 scale, 12 yard (large) skips, but fortuitously this means they also come very close to 1:12 8 yard skips (I guess the size most likely to be seen in the UK), and/or 6 yard (still seen fairly often for domestic clearouts & smaller kitchen/bathroom refits at 1:10 scale. They're about 20mm shorter than the first one I built, a little lower & quite a bit narrower, for better scale accuracy. Parts cut to shape from 1mm sheet: Top/side reinforcing bits bonded on: Lift points reinforced with M3 machine screws: Basic structure done: End reinforcement (1.5mm strips) & drag/steady bars: Attachments: |

I want to have removable scrap in these, so made platforms to make them nearly full to start.
This is the underside of one to show the reinforcement: I've divided most of my "interesting" styrene scraps between the three, this will make up the top layer(s) once I've put in enough boring scrap to hide the platform/insert: Attachments:

Awesome as usual!
Do you cut by hand or with the plotter? Can't wait to sit down in my new mancave and do styrene and other rc stuff.
