So you just got led's and wired them up together and attached a servo connector to plug into the receiver?  Did you add a switch or any resistors ?

I never thought about lights on any project till now.

Most of the pre-wired led you can find on Amazon or eBay are actually including the required resistor, so you don't even have to take care of it in case you go this route... If not pre-wired, you may need to add a resistor so the tension is actually not too high for the led (it would break it otherwise)...

And beside this, I like to have leds on my cars: it adds to the realism. I still need to find ways to add some to the Javelin and to the Super Hotshot...
I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them :-)

yes Lee I use cheap leds I bought on wish. 2 warm white and 2 red. Wired in parallel. So you don't need resistor. The current is enough low.
I love to light my rc.

Flo, if they came pre-wired, the resistor is under the insulator at the exit of the led bulb :-)

A 3D Printer, a good sense of observation, some ideas... A new world of ideas is opening to us...
While searching found some rc cars completely done using a 3D printer. I may consider building my own car at some point...
