As you know i've been messing about with 3D files and HIPS filament. Today I found some time to sit and finally "glue" it together.
Started off putting some of the 6 parts together to give them a bit more strength. Using some of the rafts from the prints as tabs to hold them together. Front first, then I attached it to the front doors, no pic though, I forgot. Rear bed and tailgate Then I attached the cab onto the front end Finally all put together. It needs some gaps filling and a bit of tidying up before its gets a coat of primer but it looks good and feels fairly strong for a 3d print. After many failed attempts, the first of 5 screw trays for a small slide drawer unit that will fit in my spares box and house all of my RC screws [hopefully] I have 4 more trays to print and the housing. Hoping it all prints out ok. That's it for now, work has been doing my head in and put me in a mood where I didn't want to do anything. Felt better today so I actually did something Regards

True for the sand, it can go everywhere. That said, I'm less worried about this with rigid axles cars than with other cars, as it participate to the protection... Principle 1: those cars are made for this (my Kyosho won't go there). Principle 2: deep cleaning at the end of vacations.

Yeh whilst being 'fake' sponsors, they are the original decals that came with the car, granted not quite applied as per the box. I still have the rest of the decal sheet, that are yet to be applied. Plan is have some fun with the car, until I get a couple of cheapish runabouts for the kids. And I have the M-05 NSU TT to build The Super Hornet was my first (proper) RC car. So also a bit of sentimentality i guess. |

Technically, it was yesterday, but I mounted the video today
A head strap to mount the gopro is a must to capture rc cars while driving one... That works perfectly. I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them

Another day, this time with the Hornet, while the sea has not peaked yet... As a result, it is more off-road and bumpy, but remain manageable...
