Nothing to do with RC - but I have been doing some basic repairing and re-tusking of my mum's wooden elephants.

Nellie - front right - got a new left cheek & one of the small ones got a new trunk tip in Milliput Black. All the tusks are Milliput White rolled into various sizes of taper & bent to shape, they then needed a lot of sanding to get them to a useable state

my father has a similar family of elefants from his time he worked in Sri Lanka shortly after my birth.

The monster beetle is going brushless. I've had a very hard time finding a brushed motor that will do a decent job of getting any speed or acceleration with these big wheel orvs so I thought I'd give this a try. To complicate this issue the pinion is a fixed 11 tooth I believe and not adjustable. 

CRP did an adjustable motor plate.
