As far as I can see, the angle depend on what type of screw.
The "Google consensus" seem to be 82 degrees for US threads, and 90 degree for metric screws.

I'll go for the perpendicular version then. :y:
The one in my toolbox seems to have a smaller angle...
And checking a random Tamiya screw, it indeed looks 90 degrees.

Diameter isn't much of an issue I think, maybe just for a bit of precision, as it simply depends on how deep you drill.
A long as it's bigger than the screw head.

I found some nice parts here and there using the term countersink instead of countersunk...
Hadn't thought of it for this yet.

Our Chinese friends are not always aware of the tense of a verb.
Countersink washers would imply you have to make 'em like that yourself...
As if they didn't countersank them for you.

While I'm at it - best size for battery pack heat shrink... 60mm?
Messed up my best one. Thought there was loads of room in a Grasshopper but yanked the wiring.

:S

On topic - I have a heat gun for that, lol.

Edit - think the last batch I had was 65mm. Seems a bit better. Advice is welcome though!

depends on the size of the stickpack but think we are talking standard 7.2 stick with 6 cells right.

I use 69mm that work out fine

Let me rebuild that LRP 5Ah then... rather strange how the silicone wire casing tore at the base.
Think I may leave the caps off - then it'll fit a lot easier on a variety of older chassis.
