So that's what I was missing to make Tamiya connectors (seems much harder with pointy pliers and some solder). :S

I've been meaning to get a pair (or more) of flat bladed pliers for a long time - so finally bought these ... at 4.75 GBP posted I think the chances of them having actually been made in Germany are pretty slim - but they feel nicely finished :)

:) Solingen is "THE" German forges town. They make very good blades too.
I have some collectibles blades from Solingen. Like Thiers in France. ;)
LIDL make some good Tools and heavy duty pliers. :y:
(I never broke mines. Same the cutting pliers) :y: :y: :y:
Same quality or better than facom ones and largely cheaper.

Looks good, I have myself a super cheap set from 'Aktion' that I'm quite happy with.
I did just read online that some Rockwell razors were fakes from Pakistan (but who cares)...

Most useful tool ever - the top of the line Victorinox I've had for more than 30 years...
Price of 120 Deutsche Mark was a fortune for me then but I've never regretted getting it.

I need to go to fleamarkets more. :woohoo:

That and my Mini Maglite - excellent relics (and proof there was an era when things didn't crap out after two years).
