I'm almost breaking the maximum number of posts referred to for the second time at least...
Aren't the curves more or less the same exponential function (x2) btw?

Jonny,
Good to bring this up again, as the forum grows. :)
The most probable solution is to add more levels. I don't think it is a good idea to change the ranking and descriptions now.

But, you have already given us two more "levels" to play with: (I'm open for more... :woohoo: )
10 ... Impressive Numbers
11 ... Hog Heaven

Which could be levels for 1500 and possibly 2500 ??

The graphics (stars) can be amended with new styling etc.

The current user post count is as follows: (available from the "index" tab, very bottom, "More Statistics")
Username/Hits
Edou/1969
Jonny Retro/927
larbut/711
agemax/588
eddrick/390
Louisbaby/349
THE H.P FREAK/230
tamiya nut/216
Falcon#5/156
zephyrin/145

I think adding new categories would make sense?

Fair enough - I thought you might be tied into 9 levels/8 stars by the kunena software & my suggestions had that in mind :)

does it really matter? ...

I'd be the first to admit that it's not up there with youth unemployment, unemployment in general, property prices, rising fuel/energy/food prices, the Schmallenberg virus, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, etc, etc, ... but yes, it does matter :)

Gents,
The ranking system has been updated with two more ranks:
Rank TitleRank imageMinimum forum posts
Impressive Numbers 1250
Hog Heaven 1500

Any change upgrading the award system to Platinum (and Diamond) , some members who already got gold will certainly produce more amazing stuff (as they already are doing just looking at some recent posts)? :y:

That is a very good idea, which JR also mentioned the other day. :y:
I will upgrade the Award system when I find time

Really not sure about "diamond" as the ultimate level, I think it still ought to be a metal ... what alloy does Tamiya use for box spanners & gearbox castings? Zamak?

Like carbon fiber for example... B)
But there are two metals more precious than gold - rhodium and platinum. :)
Good idea btw. :y:
