Brush polished the 2 orginal alloy frame braces then machined 3 new ones, 1 for the front of the cage and the other 2 for the front and rear shock mounts which I also brushed polished. I did buy (some time ago) 2 Jun Fac rear shock tower braces, Becasue they have stepped ends my ocd meant I didn't want to use them on this project but I will use them for others soon 😊

Idiot question. Is this chassis a conversion more realistic for the fav and WO? Like the butterfly chassis for the srb?

If you print yourself, 30 dollars for the files www.myminifacto...set-193616 Much, much more if you are getting Shapeways to print them for you! www.shapeways.c...ersion&s=0

Media blasted the wheels and electrics box yesterday then painted, Mat black with chrome for the outer wheels
Today I machined some alloy bushes to insure the rear axle arms can't move in with use then assembled the wheels, I intentionally bolted together with the nuts out as these wheels suit the lug nut look

I know I had the steering wheel and column for this but for the life of me I can't find it haha Used some 4mm alloy stock I saved from and old house areial and machined the top and bottom down to 3mm, the ends fit the carriers and the middle section holds it in place
High polish for this and I will need to shorten once I figure the driver position.
