I like to have lights on my vehicles.
So a few weeks ago I ordered these 3 and 5mm warm white leds on ebay.

So today I made my own light kit using those leds above together with 150ohm resistors on each led.
Most of my receivers are max 6v, so that is the reson I use 150ohm resistors.
LAN cable was used for wires.
Still have the spotlights to do..
Underbody is a wire mess so I will spare you pictures of that.

I used a spare pack for mine not nice but efficient. I haven't more 4 cells pack . I used a 6 cells one.

A 4 pack is what I'm using to test the lights

Today I finished the spotlights.
I'm very pleased how it came out. I did search a bit for the warm white with the most MCD (brightness). I can't find the spec now, but these are approx 8000mcd, usually the normal shop ones are around 300-800mcd which is like a candle light in a big tunnel....

Due lack of space round the bumper I did like this. Connected the positive together and a single wire for the negative. The resistors were added after the wires were fed through the body.
Still have to paint the bare wire to hide it a bit.

Wires are tested with a 4 pack receiver battery

I will simply plug these wires into the receiver.
Left the spotlights as seperate items so I can run them on ch3 so I can switch them on and off while driving.
Just now there is no radio gear on this chassis
I tried to keep the wires as uncluttered as possible.
