And I did read that you health was not that great.
I'm in the same boat so to speak.
Having 4 cronical illnesses, Hypothyroidism, Tinnitus etc, and it seems I get more and more by the years...
Some day I'm lucky if I manage to make a meal, do some shopping and take a shower.
As it looks for now, it seems I'm loosing my current job in late September, I hoping to be decleared disabled so I will get a steady income.

Beginning to wonder if there's a link between toy cars & ill health, or maybe it's RC in general - the toy planes lot all seem to be falling to bits too

Thought I'd have a go at making a small Rib (Rigid Inflatable Boat for my RV trailer:

First problem - no styrene tube in a diameter big enough, so rolled my own from 0.25mm A4 sheets:





Next problem - no bar available either, so did the usual gluing of several sheets together & turning down - firstly down to size & a step to ft into the tube:





Taper turned at the other end:






Pointy end sanded; plug fitted into tubes:






Tube cut, & glued back into shape (with a bit of reinforcement:

Floor & backboard fitted:





Keel piece & spars:





Two bits of 0.75mm sheet fitted, along with stabilising strips:

There are a few more detail bits to make & fit, then it's on to an outboard motor
