Starting on the garage ... 10mm wide strips scored on an A4 sheet of 3mm styrene...
Lots more scoring & strips released... ... 2 more A4 sheets & there's a load of scale I-beams, RSJs, girders, whatever you want to call them ... A bit of filling, sanding, cutting, more sanding & gluing later ... I still have a couple more roof girders to put in, but you get the basic idea. Or maybe not, there's a long way to go yet |

Last two I-beams needed some fiddly fitting but are all done now
Moving on, lots of fake concrete blocks cut out ... ... & stuck to larger bits for fake "mortar"... ... & repeated for the other "walls" ... A visit from Kitten Kong didn't help with the alignment ... Squareness & stiffness are improved with the walls, it's self supporting now & reasonably straight |
