I have never had trouble fitting Hornet tires either.
Think most use less force than needed and therefore struggles.

As JR, wheel 90 degree to the tire and turn the wheel as you work the tires over the beads.
Last time it took med about half a minute or so.

You-G goodness fitted and ready for the Festival in September

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

A few months ago i switched to Formfutura HIPS filament. Regardless of temperature and speed of printing the material is brittle, no good layer adhesion. I switched mostly because they use cardboard spools and i was tired of having around 250gr waste plastic with every spool.
Since its so brittle it doesnt make sense to continue making it a rc car. Instead it will get the full IMSA racing kit and be a stationary display model.
The white one in front is again printed with Filamentum HIPS, pretty identical settings and the material is as strong as i remembered it to be.

Have you tested PETG?

Yes, all the lenses are made from PETG. Also used it to make something bigger, a headphone stand for a friend. For the bodies i still prefer HIPS because of the weight. 20-25% less weight is noticable when the body already weighs more than 550gr.
