That's awesome. My kodaks aren't painted for the bodies. Built but in box since I built them.

Thanks. It will be a runner body so it is very simple. Just a bling bling touch with chromed bumpers to fit with metalic red rims.

Yesterday I bought new knife blades, ofcourse they don't fit my regular x-acto handle (silver), and nor has my LHS blades for my currentt handle.
What to do? I did the simplest solution, found a 8mm aluminium tube, made one end flat, cut a slot for the blade and then a 2mm nut'n bolt to hold the blade. Finished with some gorilla tape and heat shrink on the end to make some grip. ![]() ![]() The new blades are Excel no K2. Have modified some more wheels for my T1 build, again lol..

Scalpel blades & holders are a bit of a nightmare, just when you thinks there are some standards, someone moves the goalposts. Blade numbers aren't that much help, but the shape of the slot is (I hope): Small slot with rounded ends: needs an "ACM" (Arts, Crafts, Modelmaking) holder Larger stepped slot with 2 different slot widths (like the side view screwdriver with a very skinny handle): needs a #3 handle Stepped slot with 3 different widths (like an insulated screwdriver): needs a #4 handle ![]()

Yes I agree.
Been there several times before. Strange thing both the bladetypes had the slot with rounded ends, but the new blades are almost double the hight of the end that sticks into the handle.
