Ok ... if your PC is genuinely clean, and there's nothing wrong with the site, then it must be something in between... have you tried pinging & route tracing?

If not -

Bring up a command prompt ("Start" button, "run", type "command" without the quotes, e.g.& click "ok"..

enter& return key..

then(+ return)

this should give you a bunch of statistics, including %age lost & average time (0% & 43mS for me) ...


Next, try
This will give another bunch of info - the steps your interweb packets take from you to tamiyabase - what you're really looking for is any very long times, or where a step times out ... if you get a "timed out", keep trying until it works - assuming you get the same route each time (not guaranteed, the "inter" bit of internet means interconnected) this will tell you where the path is failing ... theoretically that info could let you make a specific complaint to your ISP so they can forward it & get it fixed

Another thing to try when your connection craps out is
& hope you get a different path .. you can do that direct from the "start" - "run" box without the intervening steps, you don't need to see the confirmation message.

Weird... now the images I select as message attachments won't upload anymore.

Btw - 0% loss and 27ms on the ping.

Edit - might be a change in setting of the firewall. Nope...

I had this same issue when I tried to access this thread via Google search. Tried to reload the page 2 times, worked.

It seems more members have had that screen for a short time. Eddrick also mentioned reloading worked for him.
Haven't seen that page in a few days but the blackouts I experienced were a lot longer and more stubborn...

After saying i've had no issues logging on to TB, I was unable to reach the site from saturday afternoon, until trying when I got home monday afternoon?

I couldn't give you the exact times, but it was off for everyone Saturday early evening until Sunday 1300 (GMT)

I was getting database error messages, so I don't think it was planned.

I think we're still having some problems with images that won't upload...
This time it wasn't just me in any case.
