TOPIC:

The conclusion is that Firefox 18 "breaks" Joomla's Java Library called Mootools.
The Solution is not that clear yet. I have tried a few hacks but nothing seem to work here.

Your best bet today is to use Google Chrome as browser for now, if you need to upload images to the Forum.

I noticed they put a kind of "double cache" or something in as well.
Html pages I'm writing (loaded from the hard drive into Firefox) need two refreshes now before the new draft appears.

I made the change to the site, Firefox has not been changed. What you have is probably the local Firefox Cache kicking in.
Get/use Firebug and among a vast amount of functions, you can control FireFox's cache more easily.

The Forum software is now upgraded, so you will find new features.
I have noticed the new preview button, and a general adjustment of layout.

I am updating a lot of other stuff, so the site might not look and feel exactly as before, but it's all done for the best.
