why did the c-hub snapped? to much force on it?
is it better to make the hub from a piece of aluminium?

Yep, too much force sideways so the hole where the kingpin goes through ripped apart.
Will either make something or buy aluminium c-hub.

One thing I will add is skies or wheels on the end so the plow can follow the surface better. (real ones has small wheels on the backside)

Lunchy wheely bar wheel or standard 5x11x4 nylon bearings could be good or 5x8x2,5 ones.

a servo saver might help?
Little rollers and a rubber flap thing underneath the plow

Up and down is not the problem. The last thing I did before I took a test drive was to fit a damper between the arm and the servo, to act like a servo saver.

Problem is side to side of the plow.
The C-hub is fitted with a 3mm bolt like a regular suspension pin and on top a link, like upper link on TA01, TL01 etc.
Those areas worked fine. My first thought was the lower part of the c-hub that is fastned by the 3mm bolt would be the weak link as there is not much sideways support, only the width of the C-hub itself.
Instead of kingpins I used a long 4mm rod wirh threads att each end, tube in center of c-hub for support and then big washer and nut clamping the two brackets from the plow.
That 4mm threaded rod ripped out of the top part of the c-hub as the leverage of the plow width was more than the plastic could tackle.
I used a used c-hub where I previously have been installed a pair of bearings, the loss of the material (king pin hole bored from 4 to 6mm) might be the cause of the failure.

In the meantime I have figured how to tackle the sideways mounting of the bolt as hinge pin to the up and down holes for the plow brackets.
So far a 6mm plate drilled both ways in a A shape or a 2mm aluminium plate folded to U shape has been my closest to my solution.
The first one might be bulletproof, but my lift servo already struggle with the weight of the plow.

Been snowing all day so I wanted to repair my plow mount in case it gets driveable.
Currently there is 15cm or so and it will snow for a while, so this weather is for the real stuff...

Anyhow, I made two plates of 3.2mm styrene and some angle mounts and screwed it together.

Made a new test video as well

Right now I have just used the 3 point settings on my Tactic radio for the plow, but I will program it so it will be 2 way as per default.
Earlier I have used the 3rd channel as winch on my SCX10, hence the 3 position programming.

Bugger! Now it's perfect time for this vehicle, the front tires I bought 1.5 years ago has exploded under storage.
No sun or cemicals has been in contact with these as there is no sun on that room and the shelf is up under the celiling.
I have sent mail to the shop I bought them from, hopefully I get repacements soon.

They said they have never seen this before with Boom Racing tires.

I had that but with very old and abused lunch tires. Strange...
