Window #1 - body; cutting it out & drilling bumper & light attachment holes, but not the body post holes (will be using magnetic attachments, and in a different position on the back as I don't want them stuck to the rear window) or the antenna hole.

I think this is one of the best looking cars for a while.
Plus there are many ways you could take it.

I remember seeing a car TV show that covered the 1:1 version, in particular one with a (genuine) faded paint/surface rusted bodywork & the mouse eaten interior replaced with hessian grain sacks & IIRC Navaho blankets.

I did think about going in that sort of direction, but TBH I can see this going on eBay in the New Year so it will get a shiny just built finish - just a slight deviation on the boxart colour.

Day 2 - window masks & paint ... not that I did any spraying today, but I want it to all be ready as a suitable weather window this time of year is likely to be very short.

PS-54 Cobalt Green is vaguely reminiscent of some of the teal/green colours the 1:1 car was available in. "Smoke" will hide the lack of interior, at least partly.
