IMO the ideal RC Low Pressure Ground Vehicle would have big, wide tracks, minimal chassis, electronics & a light weight battery & polycarbonate body... the skis and tracks on this are quite small, and the weight keeps going up. I suspect it's only going to work on the very lightest dusting of snow, and it might by worth me sorting a pair of suitable front wheels (modified Scorcher fronts?) before any test drive.

Right hand cab side layers:
Overall progress - roof is only held on by gravity ATM: Sill grip detail is practically invisible to the camera, but it's the "SKI-DOO" part of the grille logo with running strips Licence plates:

Day 6, more gearbox. This feels like the RC equivalent of getting a Bounty mini bar 4 days in a row, so next year I'm getting a cheap chocolate calendar instead.
There were about 30 minutes yesterday that were barely passable (polycarbonate) spraying weather, I took full advantage & got the "Cobalt Green" paint on. I know I can't tell the difference between some shades of blue & green, but I have to say it's nothing like the cap or swatches - not a trace of blue in it as far as I can see. More like Signal Green with a hint of the inside of an avocado. I'm hoping backing it with a dark blue (or maybe purple, I can't see me using that on anything else) might improve things. Attachments:
