Well I managed to complete the interior, minus a few small things(maps, GPS, etc.) But to make things a little different, I've gone for a exotic animal/insect collector/trader. All I need now is the decals to finish off Landy

i would advice a lid for the box with the snake.
and take the rocks out, the poor animals might get hurt when you hit a pothole.

Well, I had some time on my hands today, And I decided to finish the scale fuel tank that holds the battery, and i decided to make a snorkel from scratch.

Here is the fuel tank. Sorry, but I got carried away, and forgot to take photo's during the build process.





And here it is installed in the chassis:



Just enough space for my little 1600 mah Lipo packs:




And here is my first attempt at making my very own snorkel. Didn't see the point in paying $29.99 for a small piece of plastic, and this took me 20min I think.



With the basic shape cut out, I bonded them together, and sanded it with the sanding drum on the dremel:





I'll finish it during the course of today...

Well, thanks to 79BlackPearl(member on www.scale4x4rc.org) for his inspiration and plans for the M416 trailer he built, I now can build one of my own...

Starting with some box section styrene:

And here is where I stray from the original plan for a while. I wanted to design a tow hook that could rotate, and in the case of the trailer getting snagged, it has a spring on the back to add a little cushioning...
