Are you making the drawings yourself? What software are you using? Great stuff...
If I were the (manufacturing) engineer, I'd hold the parts against the belt sander a bit after cutting them out. ;)

I use CorelDraw X13 for the design work, then I save it in CAD format. The engineers machines take the cad drawing via USB, and then all the dimensions are right.

I agree with the belt sander comment, that shouldn't take that long...

Ah, Corel. From what I read, that's one of the best. Good stuff, dude. :y:
I wish I could use modern software but it looks like my computer starts to "hibernate" with anything similar. :(

Not much of an update, but work has been hectic lately. I did manage to get some primer on while spraying primer on a buddy's F350 body.




Hopefully I'll get an answer from the engineer about the transfer case tomorrow.

Ok so I posted a Poll to help me decide on a color scheme. The Landy will be riding on these rims and tires:




Should have the rims in the week, and the tires next week...

Sorry, just copied and pasted from my local site, the poll choices are:

#1 - Red with white roof and matt black arches

#2 - Orange with black roof and matt black arches

#3 - Yellow with black roof and matt black arches

Of those choices, definitely the red ... but for me, Land Rovers should be a satin medium blue with a white roof - I had lots of Britains farm stuff as a kid:

The Defender looks really good in lime/kawasaki green with black arches, well the SWB truck version does anyway
