I'm not sure how long they've been making them

Strange! I'll test to make a chassis with it. I need some spares to end the first two. especially front and rear tires. 1 sand scorcher msc.
I have a pair of front FAV rough rider tires and 2 pairs of grasshopper rear ones. They will be good on the super champ.

I have a large rear body wire post but I don't know if it is ok for the beetle body....

Yes, that's it. No wonder why the "old schoolers" didn't know what it was

Why? Is it an old option?I am absolutely novice with the srb chassis. I never thought that I could buy one anytime.

No, it's a "modern day" hop-up.

:woohoo: .
Not a full box art, not a full tamiya but a nice resto lightly upgraded super champ. I am proud of it.

Standard chassis, CRP rims, rough rider front tires, sand scorcher rear tires, parma lexan body, full ball bearings in the gear box and tamiya vintage super champ differential. And all metal gears
I love the rear positive camber  Too funny
The sand scorcher will wait next week because I miss screws ......
I hope that this SC is nice and cool for you :P

It looks stunning. There's few things nicer than a good old SRB, in my opinion ;)

The wheels I believe are Pro-Line not CRP, and if the diff is the one pictured in the lot, it's a re-re SRB diff. Tamiya didn't have any diffs for the vintage SRB's, Thorp, MIP and others made diffs, though, but they look different. I've heard the re-re diffs are even better, actually..... :cheer:

Are you using the wide butterfly style chassis for the Sand Scorcher?

 Yes they are pro line rims. I have the manual of the diff and it seems yellowed I was sure that it was a vintage option....
:(
I don't know if I'll use it for the sand scorcher. I love the original look. I think that I could make 3 chassis in all with some missing spares.
The next is the SS with FRP chassis and maybe if I have enough main spares I'll make another one SRB with the butterfly chassis but not sure for the instant :)

:) Small question,
I see sometimes sand scorchers with a front cage type pushbar bumper. And originaly it has the rough rider bumper. Where can I find the push bar ? Is it an expensive option?
