Dug out the winch from my previous Bowler Wildcat/ORV project, not very powerful but the sash pulley will double the torque (at the expense of halving the speed) & it does work off a spare TX channel ...
Didn't feel 100% confident in diving straight into the styrene... This sort of setup should have one function to lift the boom (hence the string) & another to independently lift the hook - and possibly another to rotate the whole thing, but the angles will be fixed & only the hook is going to go up and down. Starting on the support frame: ... and the arm. Note the pulley, recycled from my failed attempt at a "simple" O-ring based belt drive for the Sand Rover/Holiday Buggy: Attachments: |
