I had a go at making some 1:10 scale brewskis a while back, just for the craic, but recently I felt I could have done better, so it was time to take another shot ...
Old skool Labatt's box: & stubbies: New can blanks hacksawed from 8mm aluminium round bar: One end faced: ... and the other: Slight taper applied to one end: & a teeny bit of detail on the underside: Top end crimp faked: ... |

Top end recessed a bit:
"Brushed" with well-used 400 grit paper & ultrasonically cleaned: Transfers printed, sealed & applied: Obviously I need something to put them in ... a 'fridge is a good step up from a carboard box ... I love the beer but I prefer the Jack Daniel's or another whisky. Can you make me a stock?

Man, as a former modeller i admire your imigination, to be a good one you have to think outside the box, i guess you never was in one to begin with.
As a former judge in masterclass modellingcontests it's hard to believe you don't have any serious scale modelling history, once again, very impressive. |
