That's the thing with the 5th shock mod: it allows to keep the movement possible without limiting it. It smooths the movement, without removing it. And in reality, even a pogo stick instead of a fifth shock would do it.

And about the clack, it is not within the genes, the movement is. The noise is is just an artefact :-D...

Almost worked as planned
Javelin has now lights... I will update the thread and repost the parts on Thingiverse as it seem my original publication is not visible, not sure why...

Super Hotshot is also equipped (The wiring was remaining to be done). Unfortunately, I had one front and one rear led which did not work. I replaced them with what I had, and I still have a color difference on the front ones, so it is still requiring a bit of work)

I need to order leds again, as stock is completely gone...

I've been sorting out all the 'stuff' in our garage for past 9mths, so that I can actually use the bench space...

Dug out my old chargers.  They've been well stored, and still function.  But like any 25yr power supply, they'll be relegated to the history books.

I've also hade one of those aluminium fronted trapezoidal 15m NiCd fast chargers, with RIKO (Richard Kohnstam Ltd) branding on the top :)

When I was kid, we were using my father's car battery charger with a light bulb and we used a countdown clock to ring us when the charge was done :-D

Yes my dad built a wood box with a car batt inside when he ran on circuit and compétitions. He used it to start the rabbit and charge the 1200nicad for the lunch, clod and avante. The boss of the club charged directly on his fiat ritmo abarth. They are the small remind I have. I was 5 or 6 .
