The exhausts are pretty vunerable (might have to have a bit of a rethink there), but otherwise it'll be as tough as the rear cage |

They're really not ... I can only assume that in the 2nd pic, they're so shiny that they're reflecting the black of the back of the "engine" ? |

Other than that - plastic isn't a bad material for a scale car in any case.
It is flexible and takes vibrations much better than metal. Imagine that a 5cm bump in the road reflects half a meter in reality... Assuming it's a 1/10 scale car. |

Realised the position of the aircleaner wouldn't let me put the licence plate on - so it needed moving - sliced it off, bent a bit off 4mm tube so the aircleaner can go vertically above the right cylinders ... also wrapped the cleaner in a bit off mesh, slapped on some Milliput which I'll sand flat once it's cured ... had quite a bit left over so I thought I'd try some less wussy looking exhausts - check out those bad Mother Hubbard's
