Hi Jonny,

A TB member smitchos is selling some Bullhead parts tree etc if there any good to you?
I bought his completed Bullhead off him after the re-build.

Thanks Ging - I had a look, but the only part I need there is already on it's way from Louis :)

Might've been KL nuts & bolts the M3 flange nuts came from then, can't actually remember, but the ones I've got are plated carbon steel not stainless.
Yeah got sleep issues at the mo - didn't wake up til 8pm then it was about 5am before I was back in bed...
Had a search through the instructions & can't find anywhere where it says I can clean nuts & bolts in MY breadmaker.... Seriously though, I suspect I'd find one of those hingmies quite useful!

 I don't think any bread maker has a "shake/bake" flip switch :D

I did notice that the water temperature went from about 50 C to about 75C after several 8 minute cycles, so theorectically you might be able to boil hotdogs in it, eventually ... TBH though, I'm wondering what would happen if you put a can of pop in someone else's ultrasonic cleaner ;)

Strangely enough I've been thinking lately this would be a great resto tool...
Only lack of budget prevented me from getting one.
Wonder how it would work on a bashed and dirty chassis.
For the screws I still have WD-40 although cleaning screws with that takes patience.

I can relate to the sleep issues btw...

Capacity of that unit is very limited - claimed to be 750ml, it's more like 500ml ... you could get a CD in it, or something the size of a (185g) can of Tuna in there, but no chance of a whole chassis :(

That's too bad really... still it's a cool tool to have.

Apparently there are bigger capacity cleaners in the range - but the cost also goes up dramatically:

Ultra 9000 - 5L tank 324 x 202 x 97mm, 250 GBP;
Sonic 6000 , 5.5L tank 297mm x 147mm x 150mm, c. 400 GBP

Too dramatically for me anyway... :side:

Finished stripping the body yesterday - medium metallic blue badly sprayed over the "correct" blue I think ...

Onto repairs: side plates for the cracked/broken rear end:

... & another plate of styrene to finished the back end:

... filler ...

... + more on the top of the cab:

+ right fender:

Bumper was even worse than the back end, so I sanded off all the chrome & details...

... patched it all over with styrene ...

... & filler:

Note top side outer edge on the smoke stacks - I think this truck must have spend more time grinding along tarmac that it did on its wheels ...

Capped the ends (styrene, with an M3 machine screw so I can fit some tips later:

... then some very thin sheet to hide all the damage:

More filler on the tanks & the roll bar:

Lots of sanding to do this afternoon :)

Quite a lot of wet sanding later ...

Bumper is a bit plain, I'll probably just stick a few spare M2 cap head screws in for detail after I've painted.

The repair near the headlight failed, so I've refilled & added a bit of bracing on the inside this time:
